Car Show Video: Amazing HISTORIC Racecars and Wild PRO STREET Cars At The Spring Turkey Run in Daytona Beach
The car show scene in Daytona certainly doesn’t disappoint, especially when it comes to big cruise in events like the Turkey Run events. And the 2025 edition of the Spring Daytona Turkey run most certainly met expectations and more. In fact, this is one of the events that just keeps reinforcing our stance that Pro Street is not dead. It’s just not. Period, and this show is proof. Does that mean that we are going to see a huge resurgence of Pro Street builds, or are people just going to save old projects and old show cars? Either way works for us, that’s for sure.
Thankfully, Tommy Lee Byrd was on hand for a Spring Break vacation and took the opportunity to run around the Turkey Run show with his camera rolling as usual. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
Video Description:
The Spring Daytona Turkey Run is packed with historic racecars, wild Pro Street cars and parts, and we worked it into our Spring Break family vacation. The event is held at Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500 and it’s absolutely massive. I’ve been to the fall Turkey Run, which is held on Thanksgiving weekend, but this was our first time going to the spring Daytona Turkey Run. The crowd was a little smaller for the springtime event, but still very impressive. Lots of cool Pro Street cars, and of course, lots of great stuff in the Historic Racecars area in the NASCAR garages. My favorite was a chopped and channeled Ford Model A coupe, pulling a single axle trailer with a historic Chassis Research front engine dragster, powered by a SCoT blown Flathead V8.
