Sulfur Smell from front of XC60

Hey everyone,
After doing some donuts in the snow, i’ve noticed the front of my car smells a lot like sulfur. This is kind of freaking me out and I’m wondering if anyone knows what it is. Maybe some snow got jammed somewhere? I wasn’t flooring the gas or anything, so I’d be really suprised if something got damaged. I’d think the car should be able to handle a couple sharp rotations in snow.
Thanks!

No engine lights? Was the engine warmed up? Usually sulfur smell is associated with a bad cat converter, but I kinda doubt that’s your issue if there’s no emissions light coming on.

I’ve had snow packed against the radiator and other warm parts of the car before and also noticed a fairly strong smell, but I’d describe it as a little more metallic in nature.

Every time I’ve parked the car wet in the garage, later when I go back out there’s a pretty distinct “hot wet car” smell.

Hey there,
I just checked again after leaving the car off for about an hour and still no engine lights. I let the car run for about two minutes and didn’t smell anything, granted, it was parked.

Also, I know what your talking about with the hot wet car smell, and I didn’t have any of that. It was definitely a sulfur scent. I’m hoping because I didn’t smell it again it means it’s going to just resolve itself.

I guess just keep an eye on it (or nose? lol). Hopefully just a fluke.

Nothing else around you that could have given off a smell?
